For Vishal Dagar, Founder of VD Group, that question came when he watched a bright, capable student—degree in hand—struggle to even get an interview. The resume was there. The grades were there. The ambition was there. But the world wasn’t responding.
The question was simple yet heavy:
“Why are so many educated youth still unemployed?”
And the answer was even more painful:
Because the system was broken.
🌱 The Seed of an Idea
Vishal Dagar wasn’t born into luxury. Raised in a modest home, he knew the value of every rupee and every opportunity. As a self-taught coder, marketer, and entrepreneur, he had built VD Infotech from scratch—turning a small freelance hustle into a multi-company group known today as the VD Group.
But despite his growing success, one thing haunted him:
“I made it… but what about the others?”
He kept meeting students with degrees but no skills. Creators with passion but no platform. Young professionals with ideas but no guidance. Their stories were his stories—not too long ago. That’s when the vision for VDTechie took root.

- And three curious students
But what it lacked in infrastructure, it made up for in intention.
Those first sessions were raw, intense, and personal. Vishal himself taught web development and freelancing while helping students set up their portfolios, LinkedIn profiles, and Upwork accounts.
One student got their first paid gig within 2 weeks. Another landed a remote internship. A third launched a YouTube channel with confidence.
Word spread. More learners joined.
A spark had become a fire.
